COMPANY PROFILE

ARKITEK HKY established in 1964, our practice embarked upon a diverse range of building projects varying from government institutional, medical/health care, military, educational facilities and private development including retail/commercial, leisure, factories and residential projects.

We offer comprehensive Architectural Services, from design through construction administration as well as interior design, planning and project management. From a select group of consultants, with whom we work, we provide services for engineering, landscape architecture and other special disciplines that are required for any given project.

The success of our practice has proven to be that we are small enough to afford complete principal involvement on every project, yet large enough to assure adequate depth in staffing and technical competence.

ARKITEK HKY responds to the challenge for humanism, local culture context and economy in the design of the built environment with an emphasis on service to our clients. This service focuses on compliance with the client’s program, decision and schedule. By involving the client in the on-going decision making process, we achieve functional designs that are innovative and aesthetic.

The resultant product emerges as a synthesis of our clients’ aspirations moulded by new technology, sound practices, functionalism and costs, yet fulfils the larger responsibilities of aesthetics and the environment.

Design Development & Submission

Over the past years, we have gained in-depth knowledge of Building Application process to achieve local planning approval for building projects of all types. This is invaluable in preparing development proposals that are compliant with local requirements from the beginning of the design, and planning process by understanding the parameters within which we need to work .By applying our experience and technical skills to prepare complete accurate application documentation we have built a record assisting our clients in obtaining approvals.

Approval to Construction

Contract Admin

After obtaining building approval, our team excels at the transition into Construction drawings. We ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive and compliant with the standards. When the project begins on site, our office acting on the client’s behalf will inspect the work on a regular basis, attend site meetings with all consultants and consultants, and process progress claims and variation forms. Our architects are experienced in coordinating multiple disciplines to ensure a smooth pathway for the project to be completed as planned. We will attend to any Defect Lists, issue a Final Certificate and coordinate obtaining an Occupation Permit to effectively bring the project to a close.
